Can I get a quote to free estimating service?
Of course. One of our skilled and knowledgeable Carpetbaggers team members can visit you at your home to discuss your vision and requirements in more detail before providing you with a free, no-obligation quote. Alternatively, you can visit our showroom in Liphook to see the wide range of different types of carpet, wood, laminate, Karndean and other types of flooring we can offer.
How do you charge?
We tend to charge a price for a whole job, not an hourly rate. This is because no two jobs are the same or equally difficult. The price will include the cost of the flooring materials you’ve chosen, the labour to fit your new floor and any preparation work that is required beforehand.
What if I don’t like the quote?
If you’re not happy with the quote, we will of course review it to see if there are any areas where the price can be reduced, for example by using a slightly lower quality of material. For example we could choose to substitute a proposed high-quality wool carpet with a more cost-effective synthetic alternative. Of course, we will explain the benefits and drawbacks of any changes, so you can make your own decision about which options offer you the best value for money.
Are your staff qualified and experienced?
We are very proud of our experience in the flooring industry. Our two directors, Scott and Shane Dwyer, have more than 35 years’ combined experience working in flooring. Our individual team members and fitters are also extremely knowledgeable and skilled. For example, we have individual fitters who have more than 40 years’ experience in the flooring trade each. We are also members of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme.

What areas do you cover?
We are based in Liphook, Hampshire, and cover the following areas: Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and Berkshire.
Do you provide flooring services for commercial premises?
We certainly do. A proportion of our clients are small businesses who choose us for our personal but professional approach. We also work with several local builders and other contractors to provide flooring for their clients.
Will I get an invoice?
We do provide invoices to all our customers. These will itemise all the work that was carried out and the materials used to transform your floors.
Are you insured?
We have full public liability insurance to the value of £5 million.
